How the United Fund's Money is Used

Many agencies work in our community addressing everyday situations. Some agencies receive monies from government sources (your tax dollars), others depend their donors and members, and the annual United Fund community campaign.

Each spring, community volunteers who sit on the Budget & Admission Committee review agency applications for funding. A thoughtful and lengthy process of reviewing budgets and visiting and interviewing agencies ends with recommendations that are sent to the United Fund Board of Directors in June to set the annual Goal.

United Fund agencies receive payments throughout the year to keep services alive and available for you when you or your family may need them.
