Letter to Our Neighbors
Dear Neighbors,
We're working hard on the annual 2011 Fall Campaign!
This is our 133rd campaign since we were established by about 40 ladies in 1877. Very cutting edge for those women, don't you think?...who way back then organized the community in a philanthropic effort.
To this day, we continue to hold an annual Campaign. We contact our residents and companies & their employees to ask for donations for our community fund.
All donations stay local to fund 29 programs that help all ages for a variety of needs.
It's a tough economy. We know it...and you know it. But every donation helps. Wether it's $10 or $25 or you give $1 each week on payroll deduction at work, it all makes a difference. You or someone you know has already been helped – you just didn't know where the money came from to support the program.
We encourage you to think about community giving.
Remember that no gift is too small.
And always know that it stays local – helping our neighbors.
If you are a company, we encourage you to offer the opportunity to your employees.
If you have the payroll deduction option, Thanks! If not, we encourage you to do so. It makes it so easy for you and your employees to give.
Contact the office or a board member. We'll be happy to answer your questions.
